    • “Hotel Surrender” is the follow-up to his 2014 debut studio album “Built On Glass”.
    • Within the last seven years Nick Murphy has been releasing music under his own name.
  • Reason why I listened to the album the first time?
    • I knew his single “No Diggity” from 2012 and I recently liked his new singles “Feel Good” and “Get High” from this album.

Soulwax – Much Against Everyone’s Advice

  • Moods:
    • An alternative soundtrack at home, in the afternoon or evening.
    • Getting ready for a night out, like a concert or festival.
  • Some facts:
    • “Much Against Everyone’s Advice” is the second studio album by Belgian alternative rock band Soulwax, before they evolved more towards an electronica band.
  • Reason why I put this album next in the queue?
    • Soulwax made a remix of the song “Whatever Tomorrow” from Chet Faker his latest album.
    • I’m from Belgium and Soulwax (and 2 Many DJ’s) is one of my favorite bands and DJ-duo. This album is my personal favorite from their discography.
